Something To Think About

  • We differ, blind and seeing, one from another, not in our senses, but in the use we make of them, in the imagination and courage with we seek wisdom beyond the senses. -Hellen Keller

I thought that I had already responded to this!

I love #8 and #26! Words to live by!

Jennifer A.

26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: "In five years,
will this matter?"
This hit home with me that it is okay for me to react to a situation that will matter in 5 years with every cell of my being...sometimes we are told that nothing is worth that much, but yes, there are some events that will shape us for many years to come. Thanks for sharing this list! And that book is gorgeous!

Becky T

loving the list :D Glad to see you posting

Kristianne

hey girl, good to see you posting, I've been missing ya. Mmm morning sunshine is my fave too, its the feeling of a whole new day just starting to unravel.
This is a great list and I saved a number of those quotes, thanks for sharing it. I'd have to say #22, "Over prepare, then go with the flow" should be my motto!
...and can't wait to see some new creations from you. {hugs}

Charlee

Ah Miz Cheryl....I'd have to say my favs are 21, 26, and 34.... :)

Hang in there...it's GOING to get better! ~hugs~

Oh Cheryl....so so true!!
I think these are my fav's..although I love the whole list!
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it. (for several reasons.)
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile. (did this for Lent...whew!)
11. Make peace with your past so it won't mess up the present. (working on that BIG TIME!)
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry. (sometimes too often!)
13. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their
journey is all about. (I really try not to! It's hard sometimes tho.)
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God
never blinks. (It sure does...and DID!)
16. Life is too short for long pity parties. Get busy living, or get
busy dying. (My Dad says that all the time. And also if you're working too much then you are not living.)

Can't wait to see your designs!! It's always a treat for me! :)
HUGS!

The first one is one of my favorites - so very true!

Oh I love this list, Cheryl. I have to say that "in 5 years what will it matter" was my mantra in my early 20's. It made me laugh out loud reading it to remember back to those days. I also like the one "pay your credit card bills off every month" - that is a lesson I learned in my early 20s, too. (through NOT doing that!) I may need to do a layout about life lessons now, thanks for the inspiration.

I am glad you are having a warmer day. I hope more beautiful birds stop by your window.

I love the whole list of life lessons! Each one is amazing!

I can't wait to see your projects....

I have missed you.

Huge hugs sent your way!

Cris

Awesome, awesome post. I can't pick a favorite -- I like them all (especially the last one)! I'll have to print this out and look at it whenever I need a brain boost. Thanks Cheryl, and enjoy the nice weather!! xoxo
